I am drawn towards the one in photo number 4. I am thinking that once I get back into wood turning I might give this a try.

Luvverly work, and it is the first time I have noticed that kind of segmentation. What you leave out is just as important as what you leave in.
Somehow, I don't think I will have a go at segmented turning - I just do not have enough "oh naughty word" in me to try!
