    Thumbs up a fine piece

    Claude,

What a fine piece. It is good to see segmentation used for something other than Bowls. The base timber looks like walnut?yes ? And I like the use of fine line segments, coupled with the balance of line, dark and light timbers

All in all a fine segmented table, your cutomer should be very happy with it.

    Stunning work.

It is a shame that the photo link results in pop ups to some casino. Maybe shrink the photo to below 100k size and use the inhouse links.

I agree and have one at home. Sadly not easy to do on this work computer.

Absolutely awe inspiring for this very novice turner. I can see how the laminations are structured, I think, but to get the symmetry that you have must take a lot of skill and patience.

    Beautiful Claude.

You do not need a lot of skills but you have to have a lot of time. The only important thing is not to mix up all the pieces prior to assembly (and some turning too).
as you want all the pieces to be symmetrical you usually cut them all in one go therefore you need space too to put them to the various bunches they will belong to. More organization and patience than skill.<o></o>
