Far knee, fah nee The glue drying vid is still going, could be an epic!
Don't know if I can make this one , I'll let you know a bit closer to the day if you don't mind.
Wouldn't mind taming that big 1" skew of mine. Any chance you could show me how to cut a nice even thread, instead of the uneven spirals I seem to cut? That's what a skew is for, isn't it?

The emphasis of this turn on seems to have changed somewhat from the original in post #1, from use and sharpening of skews and spindles gouges to a skew comparison fest?
Would have made the (considerable) trip for the original intended exercise, not sure about this one though.

Saturday the 10th works well for me, count me in. And I will bring down those woodcut gouges of mine
