Can't recall its correct name, but effectively its a mini belt sander. The belt was about 13mm wide on the one I had before I retired - Bummer I sold it with the factory and tools!

Well, I think you are correct, that must be his secret, which doesn't do me any good in my shop. I don't have the compressor nor the fancy little sander. A thin rasp helps, but still lots of finish sanding required.

I made one that included a wheel like a capstan that you turn the chuck by hand and use a 1/2 round carving gouge to carve the wood out and it's bleedin hard work

It went in the bin marked maybe-next-time!
My ambition is to grow old disgracefully. So far my ywife recons that I'm doing quite well! John.

    Hi guys,
I did give you all a little snipit of the secret weapon,
as some have already said bottom right hand corner
It, s a power file and does work by compressed air
10mm wide and just sits in between the spirals perfectly
It was a gift a couple of years ago after a few well aimed
hints i think it came from a power tool company
    i can, t remember the name !!
All my secrets are out now!!
    Cheers smiife

Great job so far and a very handy tool.

I have seen the electric version of the power file may have to drop a hint or 2. You are now ahead of mine in the sanding department but I have got a pair all ready drilled but not sanded
