Very nice and precise work mate!

You can get an electric sander like that from alltools and the sandpaper from bunnings, we used them in the caravan industry when I was working there a while back

Do you drill a hole down the centre first from one end or only the ones to form the spiral?

The ones for the spiral form the hole in the middle
If you go thru far enough, a forstner bit is best to use

I got a pair done in a new thread, had to use a spade bit as that was the best I had.

    Forstner bit on order now.

Thanks for the inspiration, has been an interesting week since I saw this thread

Waved as we drove through the bypass heading north wondered if the rain had slowed your wip down a little.

    Great job on the WiP

they are very impressive pieces ... I imagine they are done with some kind of ornamental.

    Hi dave ,
The finish was EEE and glow, I used a little
polishing pad on the dremel to do the Inside
of them, they are very time consuming but also
fun to do, thanks for your interest

That is rather impressive ... I have not used glow with a dremel or the like
