Tea Lady,
How do you get a wood fire hot enough to fire porcelain?
I like the spoon, especially the handle. So much timber, so little time.

The ceramic part was fired in a japanese style wood fired kiln. Easily gets to porcelain temperature. Takes 5 days to get there though. Fired at Robert Barron's place down in Kurrumburra.
Handle just finished in danish oil.
Held together just with glue. Although has a pretty good friction fit. Pondering how to make a curved slot easier to fit over the rim. The next ones will have a pin through a small hole in the rim as well.anne-maria.
