Some Small Stuff
If you remember, I roughed out a bunch of NE bowls and such from some wood I got from the local Shinto Shrine, well, I took a stab at finishing some today, to take to Canada with me..........
Not the best pics, sorry, but I'm pressed for time.
Turned out OK, I guess, just a basic wax finish, buffed.
Sure is fussy work getting into the bottom of these smaller bowls, even with the 3/8" bowl gouge
The first pic has a Zippo lighter in it to give you some scale.
Cheers!It's a Family thing.....

Very nice, Stu. Have you tried an Oland tool on tiny stuff? Can even do undercuts with the cutter at 45 degrees and a vise-grip on the shank for torque control if you like.
A Zippo lighter? The new standard is batteries I think.
Bon voyage,
