very , very thin hollow form !
Hey guys , had a play with my new hollowing tool , maybe went a bit too far.......

First pic looks good, last pic not so good.
Care to expand on the story.? What is the hollowing too you used etc. Did you have any sneaky sort of calipers to measure wall thickness?.
I am sure you will get used to the new tool with a bit of practice.

On the positive side Smiife, that's a pretty good finish on the inside for a HF.
I find that measuring HF wall thickness is a bit tricky and on a piece like yours it often takes a couple of different calipers. I use one of these

and a regular outside caliper.

Hi AB, I got a Rolly Munroe wundercut 10 , have a couple of plays with It , then tried it out on this HF, no special calipers (perhaps thats where I went wrong )

better pair of calipers , will have to go shopping?........
No not really , I knew I had gone to far when I parted the tenon/ foot off , so I finished
It off anyway and then cut It in half , , just to see how thin it was !Cheers smiife
