Travel mug advice
Hi all
I recently purchased one of the travel mug kits from Carrols and will be having a bash at it in the next few days. Just wondering if any of you have done this or one similar and have any tips on what to watch out for.
cheers
WH

Hi WH,
My first attempt at making one failed right towards the end and I learnt a valuable lesson, get some calipers and check the thickness of the timber often, you don't want to go too thin and have the whole thing seperate on you, at about 2,000 RPM......Still to make a second attempt.

Here's a site I found when I bought my kit. Still haven't got around to actually having a go though!

I followed the same train of thought, and contacted Carrols, who advise that they can get these "cones".
