Thread: VL300 2hp electrical diagram

Any chance someone has a circuit diagram for a VL300 2hp lathe?

The control unit packed in so I took photo’s of the wiring, disconnected it and sent it off to Vicmarc. Vic rang to say it was so old he couldn’t repair it so replaced it with an updated unit.

Problem is that while a circuit diagram was supplied with the new unit, which arrived yesterday, I have no idea which wire is connected to what from the old set up.

I need the lathe urgently to make product for our new shop in Bowral (Hodak & Young on Sation Street, please drop in). An electrician has offered to have a look at it on Monday (public holiday so Vicmarc is closed). It would be very useful for the electrician to be able to reference the old circuit diagram.
