Hello everyone here is one of 5 new projects I'm currently working on at this time, there is no name for this piece as of yet. Made from a lay up of two pieces of kiln dry soft Maple. There is still a lot of carving yet to do and there will be color added as well. The Turned form finished at 7" x 11" with out the tenon.

I continue making progress on my new project. I've mostly concentrated on the very detailed sections, because they require the most work. The small flowers on the vine are the trickiest out of it all. but the Palm leaves are a challenge as well.

Hello once again for those of you who are following my latest project I've come up with the name. I 'll be calling this piece ("Birds in Paradise") I've now just about rough out 3/4 of the vases carvings. I still have quite a bit more details yet to add, but you will see I have added many more details since my last post.
