From wood murder to wood turner
Hey all I have locked my self in the shop all week playing on the lathes
I set old Yellow up for out Board turning and I love it
the Bowl Was first started 6 months ago on some ones lathe
now not haveing a chuck with jaws to fit slowed fininshing it on ols yellow a bit of a pain in the bum
But after setting her up for out board turning I had the swing to tuen it but was still faced with holding of it
That was tillImade a make shift Jam chuck held on by the face plate to fit the foot
it fitted well but I didnt want to go this far and stuff it up so with a hot glue gun in hand I glued the foor on to the jam chuck
and finished the lip of the bowl at 350 rmp as did not want to risk a UFB
the finish is sand up to a 500
EEE
shella wax cream
the pen is a slim line finished with glow I think?
wood I dont know
key ring is the same
I know its not all that flash but with out all the toys that some of you have I think I did wellDANGER!!!!I'm Dyslexic Spelling may offend!!!!!

nice work
its good to see your using your head to think of other ways to hold/do things instead of spending every penny on the flash stuff thats something we should all think about
but i know that the nice pretty shiny thing at the shop just had to come home with me
