Woodfast copy attaachments
G`day guys/gals
I`m thinking of getting a copy attach. for my woodfast mc908 lathe as i have a few projects i`d like to try but they need to be exact copies and i don`t have the skill to do it by hand.
If anyone out there is currently using this system could they tell if there as good as they sound or is it just advertising.
thanks in advance

G'day again Cliff
I've tested one once, they do work but are slow and the surface of the wood is as expected from a scraping tool attrocious, but most importantly they arn't nearly as much fun as turning by hand and eye.

Woodfast for years have put down Symtec lathes and the way they work. Now they are trying to out-Symtec, Symtec. However they haven't done it very well. I have no love of the Symtec system but theirs works infinitely better than the woodfast.
Woodfast should stick to what they do best, making lathes, and throw this embarrassing tool away.
This is just my oppinion. For what it's worth.
Cheers - Neil
