    Default Yew Bowl

I have been working on this Yew bowl for the last couple of days really enjoyed doing this one. It measures 13" X 8 1/2" X 3 1/2", I have just counted my fingers and they are all still there.

    C & C welcome.

That's a very interesting bowl. Is that part of a branch?

    Thank you both.

Christos this was from a log I was given and I cut it so that the bowl was mainly turned end grain. This bowl was the piece taken from the right half of the second photo the left is for another day as can be seen there is a branch running off of it which should be interesting when i turn it.

Very nice piece of work Derek the Yew does have a beautiful colour and depth friends of ours have a Yew dinning table and I have always admired the colour and grain in it.
