    Default Brush Fencing Supplier

    Hi
I'm wanting to cover the two existing wooden fences with Brush.

I already have some existing Brush Fence Panels on the rear fence. These are the (seemingly fairly standard) ones that are 1.8m by 1.8m sold by Solomit, Mitre 10, etc. The problem is the cost - best I have seen is about $145, and I have to run it for a total of around 60m.

I'm hoping that someone can help me find a Melbourne supplier of Brush Fence that comes in rolls - but I'm after quality stuff not the thin flimsy stuff sold at Bunnings.

It would ideally be 1.8m high, and around 3m in length, with a thickness of 2+ centimetres.

    Any thoughts or websites?

    Regards,
    Julian

I once got a price on roll out brush fencing at an outdoor supplies place, I never used it however and have never seen it. It was 1.8 x 5m roll length and was $30/m. Not sure about the thickness.

    No one else???

I went and saw some stuff today - the person told me that it was 30mm thick, in a 3m roll. Never seen so much crap in my life, it was lucky to be 10mm thick. Could not believe he had wasted my time with a 1h 15m drive.

So looks like it's the panels, or nothing, unless someone knows of legitimate 2-3cm thick brush?

Thanks for trying...all roads lead to Solomit...I've covered them in the first post; they make the 149 dollar panels.

I know they are out there somewhere (legitimate rolls of thick brush)....just have to keep searching.

I used <ST1<ST1Melbourne brush fencing for my panels as below. I picked it up from his house in Upper Beacons Field near Berwick. Mine were 1.8m<O</O
He runs his business from there and has a huge shed full of brush which he then hand makes all his panel and custom sizes if you need.
I found his service and brush to be excellent.
From what i learnt building my fence and being an amateur was that any brush that comes rolled up will be generally too thin and 'see-through' like what you get at bunnings etc and it won't last. However if your covering a fence rolled brush is relatively light and no structural timber is needed to hold it. Putting any other brush up you won’t be able to staple it as it will be too heavy. 4-6cm i found to be the best thickness but its extremely heavy. A guy at work recently put 2 rolls from kmart on top of each other to give that extra thickness on his fence.

There's a guy on ebay that sells brush as well<O</O

Here's the thickness of mine you can't see through like the rolls and will last 10x longer.
