    Beautiful boxes! I notice that you have bevels on the lid of the bottom box in your last pic and you have kept the grain running parallel end and sides instead of turning the corner(1 panel?). Terrific craftsmanship. Which tools/ techniques do you use to cut such perfect bevels?

    Thanks bookend(?), I mix it up a bit, depends on the stock and available dimensions at the start of the project...! Cutting bevel techniques is also a bit of a mix depending on how I feel anwhat the stock is, but a hand plane works well (HNT Gordon) or a router. The tip for bevels and any joinery is starting with flat square stock, without flat square stock it won't matter what you do! I enjoy using non powered tools as much as possible.
