    Default Where to find 'bendy' plywood

    Hi all. Now being the proud owner of a vacuum bag, with a few successful veneered panels made from resawn boards, I want to have a go at using it for making a curved panel. The article I have read on FWW here uses some 'bendy' plywood.

    Does anyone know where to get 3 or 4mm thick bendable ply in Australia, something that will bend to a radius of about 150 - 220mm ?

    Bunnings have 3mm BC ply 1200 x 810 for $9. I tried to break a small piece to put it in the bin this afternoon and it bent to probably 100mm radius before it broke.

    Use a 2 core ply if you can find some. Another trick is to remove one ply of a 3 ply sheet.

    You can buy bendy ply which is able to bend in length or width ways, joinery supplies stock it
