Box 2
Second box from Rose wood and Euro Beech.
Without giving to much away, photos show how I spaced the timber on the dovetail unit to have width for insert of second piece.
I then cut it off to re dovetail into the second piece.

A lot of planning and thought must have gone into creating that box. Nice coulours too.

One very creative box, so good to see someone thinking outside the square.

What an original way you've done the corners!
Well worth a greenie.

Great box, what size is it? Is that a fireplace behind? That would make it BIG..!

Beautiful box my friend..
The Incra people call that corner an Eagle post. I have done a rougher version on the Gifkins jig and when I get back home I will refine the process.

That's some very creative joinery and it looks good too - well proportioned and good colour combinations, I like it.

I'm guessing, because of the partitions, the box is purpose built - would you mind saying what it is for? By the way, I reckon it's a great job.

Extremely nice workmanship!

Cutlery Box
This was the second cutlery box I made for my married girls.
They are 520mm X 320mm
Posted the first earlier in the year.

They look great. I'm still thinking just about general construction - those inlays you have are something to aspire to.

Beauty . How many hours did you spend on these, and what timber is used? Your girls are sure to be proud of your effort.
