Thankfully the close date is still the 28th? What with wet weather / a new puppy to train etc., my time in the shop is below par, I should make the 28th deadline, just!

I've sent an entry in too. Got another box on the go, but not finished yet. Not sure if I'll make the deadline for box #2.

Looking forward to seeing the entries.

    Hi Wendy,

Thanks for your on going efforts.
How are the numbers stacking up?
Or are we waiting for a last minute rush?

    Regards
    Hugh

All situations normal. My work has dumped additional duties on me and I haven't been able to get even one box finished yet

Oh, you were talking about the comp

The entries are steadily coming in but yes, I expect a last minute rush Sunday afternoon/evening.

    Cheers

Very sorry Ruffly, I've been flat out like a lizard drinking, and haven't had a chance to even start. Looks like I'll have to be a scratching. Sorry about that.

People are dropping out and it looks like we might need to combine all 3 categories into 1 single competition.

Let's not move the goal posts after the ball has been kicked. I might get a placing if there are only two boxes up against mine in the category I entered.

Only a few have dropped out. This is normal. No one has a crystal ball. There will be no change to the rules and conditions of the challenge, not at this late stage.

    Hi Wendy,
Like Alex, I also have been unable get a start. I cannot get into my shed to work at the moment so will have to wait until the next challenge.
And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.
