    Thank you All.

This has been our best Box Challenge to date, so many marvellous and innovative ideas and the results are outstanding.

I have been completely in awe of the boxes designed and built. A huge thank you to everyone who was able to submit their entries (especially gwambygine for being a Good Sport)

    cheers
    Wendy

Sure has, had to disappear to a meeting Sorry, I had to disappear to a meeting and the thread I had to move, fix, check and re-release.

It is now back, and the Poll is also fixed as in working properly with no votes being misplaced.

    thanks
    Wendy

Love 'em all I'm still trying to fathom the impulse in making a box for a peg compared to a box made for a condom, life is a rich tapestry isn't it?

Now that everyone uses disposable nappies I can't see a connection but in days gone by some one could have got tired of pegging out nappies and want to make sure it didn't happen again.

Well I haven't attempted to make a box since high school (1970!) but after seeing this I had to have a closer look and ended up voting in all three sections. There is some fantastic work there and picking one in each section was not as easy as it might seem.

I did vote for No 10 in the anything goes but the final choice was from a shortlist of 6. One factor that tipped me in that direction was the draw within a draw design as it reminded me of a book I read a few months back called "Making Money". I wonder if the inspiration for the box came from the same source?

Anyway, well done to all who entered and thanks for the display. I am now entertaining thoughts about having a go next year just to be in it - hopefully the enthusiasm will last that long!
    Cheers, Bob the labrat

    labr@

Thank you for the vote of confidence.

I think creating fine wood work and "Making Money" is an oxymoron !
