| | homesy135 First Place Winner This is a veneered and dovetailed, A4 sized, pine box (330mm wide x 250mm deep x145mm high). The external figured jarrah veneers are bound by jarrah burl. Both the bottom and top are veneered plywood panels housed in grooves cut into the box sides. The top veneer is a piece of book-matched she-oak that formed an angry face pattern when laid. The face was accentuated with black wood filler. Around the she-oak veneered top panel I applied she-oak beading. Finally, jarrah burl was used to cover the remaining exposed pine on the top and to complete the framing of the lid's jarrah veneers. The handle on the front is shaped jarrah burl. The wooden hinges are made of coojong (Acacia saligna). The predominant veneer used inside the box is tiger myrtle veneer. It is finished with shellac and wax. |

| | Yes I'm sure.
Twist Final Results come from the averaged judges' scores out of 100 plus votes.
I've now sent out everyones' judges tally. If I have missed anyone or a box of yours, please pm me.
No, I will not be making the judges' scores public. They will remain private between the entrant, the judges and myself.
Cheers

| | Thanks Wendy,
I had forgotten the judges and only looked at the public vote. Congratulations to all entrants, some nice boxes.
