    Default Nice box!

I really like have the lid corners mimic/match the feet. I need to thumb through my sketch books and see where that might apply.

Very nice box. Terrific hinges! Overall, all very pleasing combination of woods.

Whoa! I had no idea those woods would match together in such a cool manner.

    Man you have an eye.

I like your box as well, How thick are the timbers finished down to, and how did you accomplish? I am struggling to get below 7mm. and a sled through the P/T has todate not been successful for me.

    The overall dimensions are 255mm x 155mm x 58mm x 7mm.
Beefwood is prone to tearing on the Thicknesser so I took a mm off on a drum sander. Once the box was all glued up I also sanded the sides on a Linisher Sander at 240 grit before finishing with random orbital.

Thank you everyone for positive feedback.
