    Default Business Card box

OK, so I think it goes in the bandsawn catagory (so I'll double post as I'm a little unsure how to link it.

I made this business card box in about 3.5 hours. It's still somewhat rough. The main portion is canary wood and the sides are wenge' (I really have too much of that stuff laying around) I lined the interior with faux suede but the cards don't know it. Brass pins are used for the hinge.

Thanks Wendy. I've given all my other designs away, but maybe I'll make a few more soon. However, I do have this one I carry in my briefcase all the time. But anyone can make this from the plans in the Incra catalog. I actually have 118 blanks of different kinds of woods I'm working on to sell for this Christmas as gifts.

This one is walnut with maple trim. I liked the design, but my version has a few modifications which hide the gap on the hinge and have rare earth magnets to snap it shut.
