Default Continuous brass piano hinge

Can anyone advise where I might source solid brass continuous piano hinge in Australia. I need an opened width of about 16mm for box making. So far I have trolled through nine internet sites to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It does depend on the quality you need. Large continuous rolls found at Bunnings is usuall the thin electroplated type. Solid hinge as found on pianos and actually made of brass is much stronger (and nicer).

I've recently been in touch with Franz Holz's local agent. There is no stock in Australia. You will need to import it from an overseas agent.

A while back, I got some from Elraco in Adelaide. 32mmm so may be too big for your needs.

Default The Hinge.

Hi Lesterz,
I tried to chase some up about 12months ago, & I approached Mitre 10, & the girl on the counter was extremely helpful. Wanted to know how long etc. You have to ask, no good looking for it, as they don't stock it, but they have to buy it in.
