Default gear for box making jigs etc

Hey there members, I'm slowly building up my timber collection and tools, I have a cast iron router table and a cheap Aldi table saw (probably not very accurate) and a bandsaw (18")

I'd like to TRY and build some boxes (for jewellery, niknaks etc), I looked at the Incra I-box jig but wasn't sure how it went on a router table? l wouldn't use one on the aldi table saw (saws too light)

The mitred corners also appeal, l realize I may have to make a jig for that.

So has anyone used the I-box on a router table? if yes are there any hassle tips etc.

    Cheers
    Steve

I use an Incra I-box for my finger jointed boxes on a router table, and are very happy with it.
if you buy one, take time to fully understand the instructions and set it up step by step from the instructions and you will be fine.
If you go for mitres, you will need to make a shooting board to make a perfect 45deg. angle. Google shooting boards for ideas, and also look for them in the forums.
Derek Cohen has some excellent information on shooting boards in this forum.

    All the best

    Stevo,

Did you end up buying the iBox?

I am considering it myself for use on a router table.
