    Default Guess the species of wood?

    Can you name the different timbers in these box trays! (2 of them are the same, they are all Australian Timbers!)

    I can see a Bulloak , 2 Banksias maybe a Jarrah ?

    Tas blackwood 3rd from right, Silky oak x2 2nd from left and 2nd from Right ?

    Close,
    1 x Bulloak (Top one or the first one on the left).
    2 x Banksia (Sydney coastal) (2nd and 6th from left)

    No
    Tas Blackwood, Silky Oak or Jarrah.

    Still 3 to go!

    You sure that's not Blackwood?? Is it some kind of other large Acacia? Brown Salwood?

    Starting from the left, buloke (bulloke), banksia, Huon Pine, Red Gum, Gidgee, Banksia and Red Gum!

    Can I add that Buloke is hard! Very hard, made a mess of my drum sander belts! But it is amazing in its beauty!

    Thanks for having a go, I'll add another picture soon for a bit of a quiz, I have a use a lot of amazing Aussie timbers!
