The choices are myriad. What style (strap, quadrant, butt etc. and with or without a stop) and how much do you want to pay?

I知 not really sure what I知 after so I guess I知 looking for advice as to what people use.
Maybe a stop at 90deg might be my preference but I知 open to all options.

I get mine from Gerner Hinges. They're pretty good quality and made from solid brass and are quite a bit cheaper than Brusso hinges. The butt hinges however don't have an inbuilt stop in them but the quadrant hinges do.

McJing's have a range of hinges, fairly good quality at reasonable prices. Pay a lot more for first quality hinges, but if you are just starting out, the cheaper version are good to practice with.

    Have a look at - https://mcjing.com.au/categorybrowse...ategoryid=1642

Some very nice hinges that won't cost a fortune are http://gernerhinges.com/ . They are well priced for the quality.

If you dont mind doing a bit of tidyup work yourself, then buy them off AliExpress. I get 1000 at a time and while they are good quality, they are far from presentable. I've made a little jig that sands them smooth, then a buff on the cloth wheel attached to the lathe. Perfect for the bulk boxes I make for the markets (cheap and nasty).

If you are making a largish box, go for quality quadrant hinges (Anton Gerner). I sold one with cheaper quadrant hinges only to have the customer come back a few months later with a broken hinge.

The same with the strap hinges with a built in stop. They are fine for a small box, but may not last the distance for a larger lid.
