    Default Lace Sheoak Valet Box

I was contacted by a fellow in Nebraska about making him a valet box similar to one i had previously made. His initial lack of information led me to believe it may have been a scam of some kind so i asked him why he contacted me rather than have his box made by any number of box makers in America≥
Turns out he spent a few years on the Sunshine Coast as part of his university studies and fell in love with the area and our large selection of fine timbers.
I sent a few photos and he chose the Lace Sheoak. The brief was fairly simple, 8 watches and somewhere for his pins, cufflinks and pocket knives. Handles, knobs and embellishments were not requested. The ring lines were to be fixed in the original design but i thought they took up too much room so i made a seperate tray for them.
Lining is Beige pig skin suede, hinges are from Aldav and finishes are from Constantia Organic Finishes.
Again this site turns my photos over, if someone can explain how to fix this i'll do it.

What a stunning timber lace sheoak is. The usual top class build and finish, David.

Yes it seems to affect only this site and we have tried to fix it. It is part of the vBulletin software.

From post 5 of that thread.

Other option is to slightly crop the pic and save it and the Exif data will save it in the orientation that you saved it.

test - removed data then rotated image from within MS software. - with "copy" added to file name - didn't work.

Next, Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 - rotated then "save for web" - with "PE" added to file name - worked.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 - rotated then saved - with "ROTATED" added to file name. - also worked.

Glad to assist. A box of this quality deserves to be seen in all its splendor in the best presentation. Awesome work!

With a beautiful, lively timber like that, you would have ruined the whole thing if you hadn't made a simple box with no fancy bits and bobs. So simple, yet perfect.
