    Default Manzanita And Red Cedar.

I made and donated this one to the Precious Wings Foundation for their upcoming fund raising auction luncheon. I hope it brings a lot more $$ than what i would be asking for it.

Beautiful wood. Fabulous box - what did you finish it with? It really brings out the features in the timber.

    Thanks guys.
The hardware comes from China and was bought through an Easy shop by the name of tiaohua888.
The finish was 4 coats of Organoil hard burnishing oil with a coat of Traditional wax and polished.

Carbatec here in Brisbane had a bundle of the Manzanita veneers so i twisted their arm on the price and bought the lot. None of the sales people knew the species but there was a woman hovering in the background waiting to be served and she piped up and said it was Manzanita.
