Money Box
My wife requested I make a box to be used at her art group to collect morning tea donations.
The box is made from scrap pine and meranti, measuring 90 x 145 x 50; dovetails cut with Gifkin jig; sanded to 400 grit and finished with Ubeaut Traditional Wax - Natural.
Thanks for viewing.

I bet your wife is showing that off with pride at her art group.
Have you used your Gifkins jig much? I brought one at the Melbourne TWWWS last year and so far have only completed one box with it but was happy with the way it worked. Just need more shed time to put it to better use.Dallas

Thanks Treecycle
this box was the first time I have used the gifkin jig; great enjoyment setting up and using it; used the jig at the ACT Woodcraft Guild with some very experienced mentoring to support me in its use; I have admired the use of the jig by Roger G and Colin H at the woodwork shows over the years.

It all looks so easy when those guys do it but it is relatively easy to use once set up properly.
