Something for Mum
Mum's appointed hour may be in the relatively near future, who can say? So I thought I would construct an urn for her ashes, which will be buried beside her late husband.
I have made it from Huon pine and Kwila and added some photos to the end of my photo album here:

I hope she likes it.

That's beautiful Mic! I'm sure your mum will love it
Your gallery is spectacular. Love that little hand carved horse out of Jacaranda... very nice.

Dave

Just a beautiful job. Your proportions are perfect.

The end of the story
Yesterday we made a visit to the cemetery to inter Mum's ashes. A peaceful place with a nice outlook and definitely the weirdest place my woodwork has ended up.
Cheers
