Default Need access to dovetail jig Brisbane

Hi, I'm making a simple speaker box for a guitar amplifier and want to use dovetailed joints. I can't justify buying a Leigh or Gifkin for this one project. Is there anyone in general vicinity of Indooroopilly or Kenmore who can assist? Wood dimensions are 20mm thick, 280mm wide, 400-500mm long.

You could hand cut them.

I'm new to woodworking but I've seen people make their own dovetail jigs out of wood and it looks reasonably simple as long as you get the angles right. The jig I saw was for marking the lines and hand cutting them, not for routers... hopefully this is what you're looking for.

Hi Andrew sorry for the late response. Do you still need help with that project? If so, PM me, I am at Brookfield.

If using a Gifkin, you'll need the B10 Templates & cutters
