Maybe a group buy of Brass hinges from Lee Valley is an option?
Would save heaps on the shipping, and may get a slight discount if there was enough?
I would be interested in a few pairs.I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Lee Valley has an impeccable reputation. I think you will find that they are held in high esteem amongst forum members. I've dealt with them for years and have always been satisfied with their products and delivery.
The freight cost is a little steep, so as suggested, it's better to order a quantity of small items. They will be covered by a minimum freight charge. In my experience it is best to have them ship via air, but not the express-air. You will often find that they will slip a small package into their Express-Air deliveries to Australia, even though you only paid for the slower Air-freight service.

You can get them from us. (The Lumber Bunker)
They are not on our web site as they are a new item for us. The type we stock do not have the stay. (just the right angle hinge) They are great quality.
PM me for more details. We can mail order them for you.Steven Thomas
