Tension release
As we all know, milling timber and slicing slabs has its rewards and then again some not so. This is one of those times.

Whilst my WIP is into the final stages of finishing ie letting the finish dry. I thought I'd get ready for the next one and an idea running through the head for a while now. So I sliced up some Silver Ash, then ran through the drum sander. As you can see it has bowed spectacularly. So whilst making the new box, which I had made oversized, I cut the bottom off that. So this has now lead to another box whilst the other one is clamped. I now have 4 on the go.
Anyhoo, this has now led me to a naturally bent lid for box number 3. More pics later.
