Hi Vern,
The photigraphs certainly show the illusion of waves and they are showpiece cutting boards. I agree that some perspective in the design would enhance the wave effect but how to cut the pieces when it is an end grain cutting board is a challenge. Maybe some selective shading using hot sand would improve the illusion.
