    I don't know how I would use the triangular spaces in the tray. Are those just for design, or do you have a practical use in mind?
    For storing whatnots, obviously! Can't think of anything more practical than that.

    Just an amazing piece of work. Sorry I cannot help with the timber identification. I've not run across that one before. Beautiful box though.

    Hi Alex,

    AFA timber goes...its probably some endangered rainforest species....no doubt it came from the last remaining specimen know to exist..

    The wonderful colour is a result of certain alkaloids contained in the wood that may have been a cure for cancer.


    BTW ....nice box.
