Gifkin F5 prob
436DCAB2-7CA5-452B-9A7A-594DA4428824.jpeg
I have an f5 Gifkin box joint finger jig and I was wondering if anybody has this prob and whatÂ’s the solution ?
After I make the first cut - then move the 10 mm spacer to the other stop - the stock has a tendency to drop down over the 5mm fingers on the jig - resulting in the depth of cut being wrong if you don’t watch it

Maybe get in touch with Gifkins as they have a good name as being helpful.

Hi,
If I remember correctly, the instructions say your stock must be 7mm or more or you must put a spacer underneath.
Hope that is your answer.

Hi,
No. The fingers and the spaces remain 5mm no matter how thick the material.

Ok - So it won’t make a difference with the stock thickness ...?
