Porter + Cable Omni Jig 24
I've just bought a Porter + Cable Omni Jig 24 dovetail jig off Gumtree.
Anyone ever used, or even heard of this American brand? I'm guessing it is probably 30+ years old, but quite serviceable.

Good quality gear, the old man had a couple of their tools and they were good.

They are very popular and well thought of in the USA.

Ive got one of these that I bought with great intentions probably 25 years ago and it cost a lot at the time. Don;t see them around much these days.

Did you ever use it?
I'm travelling north at the moment escaping the southern winter, but plan on using it when we get back in the spring.

Yeah I did, but probably not enough to justify the cost. If I recall correctly it was around $800 back then.

Here is a joint I did with it back then. Wish I had bought some other templates at the time.

Being such a solid bit of kit, mine, which I paid $200 for including the router, cleaned up really well, functionally the same as new, so hopefully I'll get do something useful with it.
I'm going to nickel plate the rollers as they are rust stained, something that should have been standard out of the box.
