    Is it just me or is this a remedy to a problem that didn't/doesn't exist. I don't want my furniture to look like an old barn. To me that cabinet just looks neglected.

    I think I agree with you re furniture NC' but, where I can visualise it, is say, picture frames displaying black and white prints and other 'wall decoration' such as coat and key hook boards?
    I am about to assist number 3 daughter with jointly(?) making goods to sell in the trendy markets and 'old weathered fence paling' picture frames are high on the list.
