Default Clear Oil For Exterior Timber

    Hello All,

Can somebody please suggest a suitable product that i can use to oil a set of French Doors.
The doors have been stained with Wattyl Exterior Stain in a jarrah color and the result is just the shade that i was hoping for, however, most oils i have seen thus far promise to "rejuvinate" timber and have some color added.
I dont wish to make the doors any darker than they are already and was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a finish that will go on clear and not darken the timber.
Ideally, i could use the product for interior use also.I dont wish to use varnish at this stage so we can keep our options open.
If the end result isnt what we (read she) isnt looking for then painting may be decided upon.
    Thanks in advance
    Steve

    Thanks Gumby,

I was trying to work out the difference between Furniture oil and or oil for doors. windows ect. I suspect it is the same stuff with a different label.
As far as application goes, what would you suggest?

    Cheers

Sorry mate, I'm having an off night and deleted my post because i thought it was the wrong thread. Then i realised I deleted the wrong post ! (my cordless mouse died and I had to replace the batteries which got me lost and confused.)

here is what i had posted:

Most of the better outdoor furniture oils should do the trick. I use Feast & Watson from Bunnings on an outdoor spa which has those cedar panels and after 2 years, it's still looking great. It gets a recoat about twice a year on the side facing the sun.

And to answer the other question, brush it on. It's like water in consistency - just slop it on really.

    sorryfor the confusion....think it's bedtime
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.
