Scandinavian/Danish oil tips?
I am making a TV stand/hall runner from reconstituted 32mm thick laminated kitchen timber tops, not Formica.
i am using feast Watson Scandinavian oil and have just given its first coat, what's the best way to continue with more coats, the tin says scourer or steel wool when applying 2nd coat, does anyone have a go to method for applying each and every subsequent coats to maximise the best finish?

Keep on coating . When it has nil smell, do another coat with a piece of cloth rolled up like a sausage roll,
For my money I wouldn’t bother with Scandinavian oil , it is like donkey .
Cabot’s brand of danish oil is the only one I’ll use , it builds up coats quite quickly , after four or five coats rub out with 320# , (when it’s real dry and nil smell ) , then a few more coats , then 320# again , then ‘0000’ steel wool , then another few coats ... Scandinavian oil doesn’t really build up like danish oil ...
