BluesTone guitars- Black Sassafrass bent sides singlecut semi-hollow
Another pictorial lads.
This style of build will become another signature from my stables hopefully.
Specs.
Bent Sides, laminated rims, centre core and neck all Blackwood.
Blackwood Sassafras 6mm Top and Back
25" scale neck,Custom paua/recon stone/M.O.P. inlay based on a Chakra wheel.
Ebony bound Ebony F/Board with medium frets.
Hardware-
Schaller roller bridge,
Gotoh 510 tuners,
Mick Brierley A2 high wound Buckers
1 Volume, 1 Tone, 3 way toggle and 2 mini toggles on/on/on- series/split/parrallel separate for each pickup.
The rest will be in the pics.
Black Sassafras top and back. Very lightweight and an absolute delight to work with.
Top bookmatched, glued and clamped.
Neck timber and striped ebony fingerboard blank.
Just slotted the board to 25" scale
Apologies guys, will showcase this board slotter very soon. A little tardy on my behalf. Floody I owe you a beer for stringing you along.
Next I'll bind the board for an invisible bound edge.

Miller's.....got it.
Ebony binding was cut from the same board before slotting and will get re-glued in place , so no ugly fret slots and a little added stiffness.
Neck Blank with a 12 degree back angle and trussrod routed in place.
Cheers, Stu

You're "churning them out at a rate of knots".

This was a commission build, Kev.
My signature shape and build details with the owner's choice of hardware, top and back timbers and aesthetic colour choices.
Thanks guys for the comments.
Here's the Black Sassafras headplate glued in place with a .5mm Blackened maple veneer between .

Loving this build more and more with each set of photos Stu.
Your customer picked a good choice of Tonewoods, the way they come together magic.
