Brierely Pups
Anyone know if Mick Brierley is still selling his pups. I have sent him a couple of emails and haven't heard back. I don't want to chase him and become a pain in the A@# if he isn't doing them anymore. I have read a lot about how good they are on this forum and am keen to use them on my electric builds (if I can get a hold of some of them) Cheers Bob.

He certaintly does Bob. I was emailing him around 2 weeks ago. He was having problems getting back to me for a few days though. He said the emails kept bouncing back to him. He seemed to sort it out though. He might be having some problems again.

Hi floody, Thanks for the quick reply. Could you shoot him an email to ask if he recieved my email/order. If he is unable to reply as him to send me a PM if he is on this forum. I would appreciate your help if you can Cheers Bob.

I'd cut Mick a bit of slack as he's been slowed up with an injury.
Still making his pups but he's not in the best of nick at the moment.

Yep, recently received some pickups from Mick that will be used in a build thread to be started shortly, so he's still winding!
Hadn't heard about the injury probs though, & hadn't had any probs with emails - even though I only have a hotmail acct.
(I assume you went through the contact address on the Brierley website?)
Hope you get your pickups OK - I used some that a friend gave me for my first build - absolute cracker!
Hoping these next ones are just as good!

Yes Bob I thought with all the wood you have down I would be wise to bring the big truck down that way I won't have to leave any behind. Cheers Robert.

Hi Bob,
Have seen quite a few posts from you (mainly to Tassie Bob) since you joined up but havent seen much in the way of posts about your guitars and and even better..pics. Like Andrew often states.....if there arent any pics then it didnt happen.
Looking forward to learning more about your builds.

Hi Martin, I haven't been building a lot lately as I am flat out with work. As the name suggests I am a builder and my work tends to come in waves. Also I live in Canberra and after being in the cold all day I tend to hibernate in the house with the heating cranked up.
I will get back to building in a month or two when the temp rises a little and the humidity drops a bit.I will start taking a few pics of my next build and start posting them. With regard to Bob I have now had the pleasure of going down to Tassie and meeting him.He is a terrific bloke and a wealth of knowledge regarding Tassie timbers and more than happy to go out of his way to help when he can.I think this forum is much the richer for having him around. Anyway it's minus 2 outside and I have to go of to work "gotta love winter"

No worries Bob. Like you my work comes in waves and keeps me out of the workshop.
Looking forward to pics of some of your builds.
