Not getting much time in the workshop of late due to work and domestic commitments. Im currently working on my first commission...a vanilla flavoured classical. Back and sides are Indian Rosewood, neck is spanish cedar and top is Englemann from Graham Hein in BC. The customer is a friend in Sydney with a brother who is New Zealands only blind winemaker. Price of the guitar will be a few bottles of his Pinot Noir. Youll notice a fair bit of silica in the IRW....this will darken up during pumice pore filling sessions.

The fan bracing looks minimalist but the Englemann is stiff (and light) so it works.

Looking like the makings of a very nice classical, Martin.
Only a few bottles for this one ?

Nice to see the odd acoustic of yours getting posted here still.

An acoustic is not something I'd contemplate for a loooong time. And the craftmanship on this one only reinforces that I ain't ready.

I look forward to seeing how this one progresses ... well done
