Carvetop Firebird
As I told you Stu, it looks great but the more I look at it, the more I can see a fiddleback strip of blackwood up through the front centre or fiddleback mountain ash.
But we have to work with what the customer requires.
And where is Deano hiding these days as I remember he was also doing a Tiger Myrtle.

Damn Stu!! that looks sweet now all the hardware has gone in!
The truss rod cover is the best idea ever! Its using the original sort of design but just adding the magnets to take the screws out and clean it up. That looks super clean Stu.
Plus i don't think i've ever seen a finish that good Stu, this one may even be surpassing the tele!
they can have all the expensive gear in the world and pump out in no time but you've still done a better job of it!
Very good twist on the firebird design!
Really well done all round Stu!!!

Finally home...
Good afternoon everyone....
The Bird has landed......
This most exquisite of guitars now resides in a secret location somewhere in beautiful N.S.W wine country.....
The 2100 odd km 2 day trip was a mission and a half, but upon cracking the case open and peering at the contents after arriving home, all tiredness was washed away upon a tidal wave of joy at the thought of spending my time playing this incredible guitar..
Thanks again Stu....
Grant...

Wow! Gives me the same feeling as when I see an incredible guitarist.
Don't know whether to laugh or cry,
Don't know whether to be totally inspired or throw it all away in disgust.
Just have to sit back in amazed confusion!
