Good to see more people getting into home made instruments. That moment when the first string is plucked to check how it sounds makes building them addictive.
Where did you get the resonator cone?
    Even Jimi played one.

    Thanks Cliff,
I have had a few things from cbgitty in the past but with postage and the exchange now it is a bit on the steep side. I now usually use MRWS instruments as they are here in Aus. I know they have cones but was just wondering if there was anywhere else.
    Regards
    John.

    Robyn,
MRWS has cones for about $30something so I cant see them coming from USA for less. I just wondered If you had found a new source is all.
Thanks for the offer all the same.
Looks like you are an addicted box builder.
    Regards
    John

here is my $5 dog dish, and my ceiling light surrounds for 20c at op shop as sound holes, all up costs are about $50-60 each not bad for an instrument that plays well and is fun to make because there are no rules
