Cumpiano Book - Does it come with plans?
Looking to get this book and just wanted to know if it comes with plans or not?
If not are the dreadnought plans from ALS OK?
Is it still the book to get for acoustic learning? Looking to make the leap soon.
Cheers
Archer

Nope, it doesn't come with plans, but it does tell you how to draw up your own plans for an OM sized guitar. You can use a tracing of the body from an existing guitar if you have a shape you prefer.
I drew my own plans and built my first guitar from this book alone.
The last three have been from plans tho.

Thanks Paul! I think it might be under the tree this year, along with a set of dreadnought plans!

I bought this one awhile ago. I pick it up and read through sections as needed.
Although I haven't built any acoustics, this book still has alot of applicable info
that spans both acoustics and electrics.
A worthy purchase indeed.
cheers, Stu

My copy arrived yesterday.
It is full of pictures and very clear drawings. It looks like it will be easy to follow.
There are no full scale plans though.Scally
