These are some work in progress stave drum shells made from PNG Rosewood. In the next few days I'll update the completed shells with hardware and heads. Red RockDrums Australia...thanks guys.

Thanks to Mat and Roger at Red Rock Drums Australia for these wonderful drums. It was a lovely process to see the timber selected and each step along the way to make these stave drums. They have put a lot of work into developing some details that many people don't see, but they all go into making instruments that stand out from the crowd. World class instrument makers right here in Melbourne. They sound amazing. I may just have a crack at building the next set myself.

    Well done.
