New dulcimer
New dulcimer I've just finished for an English lady who lives in Australia.
The back and sides are Sheoak and it has a Western red cedar soundboard with hears shaped soundholes.
The fretboard is made from an Australian product called Paperock which is manufactured from recycled paper and phenolic resin.
It looks and feels like top grade pure black ebony and machines and sands really well.
I have inlaid it with pearl position markers including a British swallow and an Australian silver gull.

Sweet indeed!
