Nothing in my workshop. I have bench in my guitar room where I do all assembly and setup work. Once it's setup, I plug into my line 6 pod hd and use that tuner. Or my rack mount tuner.

So many options. Peterson strobe tuners are generally the best you can get. They cost alot though. Korg pitch black pedal tuner into a little amp would work well too

I was using a Peterson VSF strobe tuner that I got from Stewmac for $200. Unfortunately I blew it up by using the wrong power supply. Bugger!

They're not available anymore, but I found an ios app from Peterson that basically the same thing.

Clip-On Peterson strobe tuner from Stewmac - Super accurate and the "sweetened" tunings are great

i tried the peterson tuner software and could not get it to work properly so i got my money back
to their credit there was no argument at all
    not that expensive

i dont think i had the input side from the guitar sussed out properly
i used a usb / guitar lead thingy direct to the computer which didn't work too well

still have no decent interface from guitar to pc

I have a behringer guitar link that I don't use. It's yours if you want it. I've upgraded to an mbox or I can run direct from my pod hd.

    Snark SN-5
It will do everything from Bass right through to Violin.
Cheaper than some of the other Snarks 'cos it doesn't have the Metronome.

This is for a workbench tuner, the good thing about the Snark is that it is chromatic so you don't have to plug anything in, even an electric on the bench for setup can be done without plugging it in.

I use PODs for my electric & acoustic electric when I am playing them.

I have a Sabine STX1100 that lives in my gig bag unless I need it on the bench
The other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".
